S.L. Sanger
SL Sanger is an ex-newspaper reporter who wrote for The Seattle Times Post-Intelligencer for over 14 years. He holds a degree in history from the University of Iowa. He has written as a reporter and freelance journalist for a number of papers including The Los Angeles Times, as well as the Associated Press.
Ferenc Szasz, Ph.D.
Author of the book The Sun Rose Twice, who wrote the introductory chapter about the wartime context of Hanford, is a historian at the University of New Mexico, and has written extensively about the early days of atomic weaponry.
Bruce Hevly, Ph.D.
From the University of Washington history department, wrote the concluding chapter about Hanford since World War II to the present. He is a specialist in science and technology and is currently co-authoring the book The Atomic West.
Craig Wollner, Ph.D.
The editor of this book, is a scholar of labor history at Portland State University.
